Executive Staff Assistant to the Provost

Clarion University of Pennsylvania seeks applicants for an Executive Staff Assistant to the Provost to provide confidential executive-level support to the Provost; manage and coordinate administrative functions within the Office of the Provost, including office management, coordination and resolution of issues and problems, coordination of appointments and meetings, and compiling drafts of written communication, reports and presentations. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and five years experience in office management; have strong coordination, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with the general public in resolving issues; and completion of a successful on campus interview which may include testing to demonstrate ability for job required skills.
Preferred qualifications: Prior experience as an executive level assistant and evidence of being able to mange and coordinate multiple projects at one time.
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate(s) will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification and criminal background check.
