Nursing Temporary Faculty Positions 2018-2021

Clarion University’s Department of Nursing invites applications for a pool of candidates to fill temporary faculty positions for the 2018-19 through 2020-21 academic years. Clarion University’s pioneering nursing programs deliver instruction on the ground at the Venango campus located in Oil City, Pennsylvania (ASN), at the Clarion campus located in Clarion, Pennsylvania (BSN), at the Pittsburgh Site, as well as a variety of online programs including an RN-BSN degree, and collaborative MSN-FNP and DNP programs offered jointly with Edinboro University. Positions are contingent on the availability of funding.

Required qualifications include Master of Science in Nursing degree; faculty teaching in the MSN-FNP will also require licensure and national certification as a CRNP; and completion of a successful interview. Preferred qualifications include: Recent clinical and/or classroom teaching experience and an earned doctorate but consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolled in a doctoral program and have demonstrated successful progress.
