Job Description:
This part-time Title IX Coordinator position will serve as the primary authority for monitoring and coordinating complaints relating to the Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other state and federal laws and regulations as assigned for the College and York Country Day School. The position is responsible for reviewing, investigating and resolving reports of sex discrimination, which includes sexual and gender-based harassment and violence, stalking and relationship violence; coordinating required education and training programs; preparing, compiling and submitting mandatory reports to external reporting bodies. The position will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and the institution's general counsel in keeping appropriate parties apprised of the status of open investigations and progress related to compliance requirements and deadlines as it relates to adherence to Title IX, VAWA, etc. The position will assist the Division of Student Affairs, Campus Safety, Human Resources, Athletics and other offices that effect compliance with Title IX, as well as related laws and guidance affecting each department.

Requirements:
The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree. Masters or law degree preferred. Applicant must possess 3-5 yrs. experience in higher education, 2-3 yrs. direct Title IX compliance and investigatory experience, preferred, and working have knowledge of applicable federal law and regulations, including Title IX, Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA), and the Clery Act.
