The College of Medicine, Office of Medical Education is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Program Manager. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the management of our medical education curriculum under the direction of the Associate Dean of Medical Education. The candidate will assist senior administrators, faculty, and staff to help ensure curricular excellence and innovation in medical education. The Program Manager will interact and consult widely with faculty, staff, internal and external individuals and external institutions as necessary. The Program Manager will meet regularly with appropriate leaders, faculty, and committees to support the management of the curriculum and help to ensure that all activities are in full compliance with AAMC Liason Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accreditation requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Support the Course Director for Interprofessional Education.
  • Support the Course Director for Learning Communities.
  • Provide proctoring support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience within a university or comparable setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project staff, faculty, and administration.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong interpersonal and communications skills, effective critical thinking, and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated evidence of a commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion of all people.
  • Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking with the ability to take initiative and the willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively and assertively to crises, workflow problems and conflicts.
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex tasks that require meeting critical deadlines.
