Position Summary
Schedule: 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, Exact hours to be determined.
Southeast Career Services has an immediate opening for a part-time (25 hours/week) Office Assistant II position at the Southeast campus.
The Southeast Campus Career Center is a vibrant, comprehensive, and welcoming career center which supports our students and community with the following: career research and assessments, scholarship search, exploring majors and programs of study, job search assistance (resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, identifying job leads, networking, etc.), internship assistance, and other areas related to career success.

Candidate Profile
These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position.
Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications.
- Experience in calendar management (in Google Calendar preferred).
- Desire for and skill in navigating a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
- Able to use a multi-line phone system, PC compatible computer and Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Suite, Banner, AdvisorTrac.
- Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with and supporting college students.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of office assistant experience (college or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the experience requirement).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities with frequent interruptions.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Experience working on a college campus
- Knowledge of Payroll and Human Resources procedures.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Positions in this job family typically work in an office setting but may be assigned more physical duties such as transporting office supplies and equipment. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Some positions may involve limited local travel.
