Position Status: Classified; Salary Level 22, Fulltime, Non-exemptm
Starting Salary Range: The first two steps of the range are: $3,954 to $4,073 per month. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.

Job Summary:
These are temporary Bond positions and end at the end of the bond, June 30, 2022.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Position 1 - Generalist Position
1. Experience with capital equipment and /or bulk purchasing e.g. IT equipment, Furniture Fixtures & Fittings.
2. Public Purchasing Experience
3. Knowledge of Oregon Revised Statutes & Oregon Administrative Rules on procurement
4. Experience with Public Improvement Contracts
5. Experience with MWESB outreach programs
Position 2 - Construction Contracts Position
1. Experience drafting RFP's, RFQ's, ITB's, and other formal procurement documents
2. Experience with public construction contracts including CM/GC, Design Build, and Job Order Contracting
3. Knowledge on insurance and bonding requirements for commercial construction contracts
4. Experience with AIA contract documents
5. Experience in negotiating terms and conditions for design & construction contracts
6. Experience with MWESB outreach programs
7. Public Purchasing Experience
8. Knowledge of Oregon Revised Statutes & Oregon Administrative Rules on procurement
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree in Business/Accounting with course work in purchasing, inventory management, government procurement or business retail management. Experience performing the duties described above may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Two years experience in purchasing or buying in either a public institution or a position which includes procurement of a wide variety of goods and services, and procurement contract preparation/negotiation. Knowledge of Oregon State purchasing statutes and other governing regulations.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical language and to confer, analyze, and write in an objective, lucid manner. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups at all levels within and outside the college.
Proficient in use of computers, spreadsheet and other software, and 10-key calculator.
