Post Doctoral Fellow

Job responsibilities/duties:

The fellow will assist in the development of and ultrasound-based oxygen scavenging system for cardiovascular applications. Duties will include development and implementation of microfluidic emulsion preparations, identification of ultrasound insonation schemes for improving oxygen scavenging, and testing the systems using ex vivo systems. The fellow will also assist in the mentoring of students training in the laboratory.

Minimum qualifications: The fellow should have a terminal degree (such as a PhD, DPhil, MD, or related) with a background in either biomedical engineering (or related fields) or preclinical surgical models (with a preference for cardiovascular models). Strong hands-on skills are necessary.
