The College of Education at Oregon State University invites applications for two full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, open rank tenure track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position. Our new faculty members will focus on K-12 Mathematics, Science, or Literacy Education with an ESOL/Bilingual focus. Responsibilities will include research, service, teaching, advising and program development. Candidates will develop curriculum in K-12 licensure programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as a PhD program. Doctoral-level courses taught on research, methodology, and theory will focus on social justice, cultural and linguistic diversity, and equity in K-12 schooling. Both positions will provide leadership in one or more of the following programs: the Double Degree undergraduate teacher education program, the MAT Beaverton teacher education program, and the Language Equity and Education Policy (LEEP) PhD option. The new faculty will work primarily on the Corvallis campus.
Successful candidates will have an established (candidates for Associate or Full) or promising (candidates for Assistant) record of success, including in teaching, service, and (externally-funded) research. The new faculty members will be expected to expand grant funding and a research agenda in related areas of Mathematics, Science, or Literacy Education with an ESOL/Bilingual focus.
