Assistant Professor in Strategic Communication

Media Journalism & Film:  Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Strategic Communication to teach in the areas of public relations, integrated marketing communication and media studies; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; and provide service to the institution. The Strategic Communication curriculum is currently being reconceptualized which will likely result in courses more focused in writing and media.

Require:   PhD in Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline by date of appointment; evidence of successful teaching.

Consideration may be given to candidates with professional experience in public relations, media relations, marketing, or related fields; or Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) or similar distinction.
