Position Description: Supports and executes video productions developed by the Center for Instructional Technology & Distance Learning. Records on location and in studio productions using various cameras and equipment. Plans and executes location and studio lighting for photo shoots, interviews and blue screen work. Designs and executes location and studio audio recording set-ups using both wireless and hard-wired microphones. Assists with final editing of location productions and uploads to Mediasite, Youtube and other streaming platforms. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in media, communications, or related field, OR in lieu of degree, professional work experience in video production to include lighting and audio recording. Ability to edit location and studio productions using Apple Final Cut Pro or other relevant video editing software. Ability to lift 20 pounds. Experience using both video camcorders and DSLR cameras, wired and wireless microphones, mixers, etc. Strong communication skills. Ability to creatively solve problems related to video production. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in completion of assignments. Valid driver's license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University's Motor Vehicle Policy.
