The Department of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2018-19 academic year. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of teaching excellence and could teach courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Psychobiology, Research Methods & Statistics, Cognitive Neuropsychology and Functional Neuroanatomy. As part of the McMicken College Teaching Innovation Initiative, we seek applicants with experience using research-based, active-learning approaches and those willing to evaluate new models of instruction and embrace online learning.

The desired candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and analytic skills, and demonstrate a history of effective departmental, community, and professional service.

Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field is required.

This is a one-year, non-tenure eligible Visiting Professor position with a start date of August 15, 2018. The expected teaching load for this position is eight courses per academic year. The position could be renewable for a second year contingent upon need and administrative support.
