The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Radiology is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Research Assistant.

Essential Function : Applies professional knowledge, skills, and training to assist in the conduct of a clinical trial in the Department of Radiology.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be involved with the conduct of a large NCI funded, randomized breast cancer screening trial and will perform various assigned duties for the trial. Duties include:

• Screen potential patients for study eligibility
• Perform informed consent process
• Maintains study timeline
• Completes study documentation and maintains study files in accordance with sponsor, University, and regulatory policies
• Responsible for successfully completing study related tasks as required by the sponsor and institution
• Effective and ongoing communication with sponsor, PI, research participants, and clinical personnel
• Knowledge of regulatory processes for the conduct of clinical trials (21 CFR 50, 45 CFR 46)
• Responsible for the timeliness and quality of own work assignments as it relates to timeliness and quality of teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a profession/field or equivalent level of education and experience.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
