Duties will consist of, but are not limited to, designing, performing, and analyzing studies that investigate food intake, nutrient metabolism, obesity and responses to psychological stress.
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a profession/field or equivalent level of knowledge.Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a related field, plus several years of research experience.
Preferred Qualificiatons:
- Experience with some of the following laboratory procedures/techniques: immunohistochemistry, microscopy, qRT-PCR, ELISAs, radioimmunoassays, cell and organ culture, small animal handling, and small animal surgeries.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and supervisory ability.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, and graphing).
This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
