The College of Allied Health Sciences Dean's Office is recruiting for a part-time (75% FTE, 30 hours per week) Program Coordinator . This is a short term position with funding for 18 months. Funding and need for the position will be evaluated as the initial 18 month period comes to a close. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

Essential Function

Provide administrative support to the College of Allied Health Sciences Dean's Office and other administrative units where needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the Dean's Office and Academic Units including making copies, sending faxes, emails, distributing mail, etc.
  • Interact with staff faculty, external agencies, and other University departments
  • Maintain Academic Unit filing, including electronic storage
  • Coordinate and maintain a schedule of events, meetings, and visits for Dean's Office and Academic Unit
  • Attend meetings, including college, department, and program meetings and retreats, etc., as necessary
  • Respond to program related inquiries (written, in-person, by telephone, by email) from faculty, students, staff, and the public
  • Assist and participate in program preparatory and onsite accreditation activities
  • Assist Department Chairs, Program Directors, and faculty with travel arrangements
  • Supervise students hired to assist with office duties in Academic Units
  • Provide administrative support to graduate program admissions committees in Academic Units
  • Classroom scheduling and curricula management via University systems such as e-Curriculum and Catalyst
  • Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Support Academic Unit internship and clinical education initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with project management functions
  • Perform related duties based on departmental needs


Minimum qualifications : Bachelor's degree with at least one (1) year of experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years of experience; -OR- five (5) years of experience. Experience must be in program coordination.

  • Strong oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal direction
  • Strong technical skills including a high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to interact successfully with individuals and groups at all levels for the institution
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and demonstrates strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability, and resourcefulness.



This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
