The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati seeks to recruit a basic or translational scientist who will establish an independent research program focused on lung cancer. The successful candidate will be a part of the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute's Comprehensive Lung Cancer Center, a collaborative multidisciplinary team of lung cancer experts. Applicants must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at UC. The candidate will be recruited at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor based on qualifications.

UC provides an interactive and collaborative research and educational environment that will facilitate the training of the next generation of research scientists, clinicians and academicians, and will provide a direct conduit for the effective translation of scientific information from bench-to-bedside. Minimum Qualifications : Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of relevant postdoctoral or residency experience.
