Physician - Primary Care Network

Primary Care Network Physician

College of Medicine

The Physician within the College of Medicine will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

Primary Duties
  • Diagnose diseases or study medical conditions using techniques such as gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology.
  • Write reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions.
  • Identify the etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of diseases.
  • Analyze and interpret results from tests.
  • Document findings, plan, and actions taken according to departmental guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact on patient care.
  • Maintain records and statistics in accordance with department policies. Attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings.
  • Participate in department's continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Provide education to other health care professionals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

Medical Degree (MD, DO) and current Board Certification, state of Ohio license/eligible. Advanced training (fellowship trained) in appropriate disciple with at least five (5) years of applicable experience in a clinical practice.
