UC is one of the largest employers in the Cincinnati region, employing over 15,000 full time and part time faculty, staff and student workers. The College of Medicine, Department of Dermatology is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Nurse Practitioner.

Job Summary/Duties: Acute care nurse practitioner will be assigned to the professional practice and the care of general dermatology patients

Primary Responsibilities: The nurse practitioner will be responsible for managing patients with both acute and chronic health care needs. The nurse practitioner will demonstrate an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for routine and complex dermatological conditions. Nurse practitioners must demonstrate clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgement, professionalism, and compliant and timely documentation.

Minimum Qualifications : A Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program. Three (3) years nursing experience. Current/valid RN license in the state of Ohio prior to start. Minimum 1-year APRN experience of treatment of dermatology patients.
