AESS Test Prep Instructors are responsible for inspiring and challenging students through active learning, managing a classroom environment conducive to learning, and adapting the test preparation programming for the unique needs of the clients and individual students. The instructor is an advocate for student success and for clients' needs, while representing AESS with integrity and professionalism.

General Function:
Prepare curriculum and deliver GRE Prep test taking strategies and instruction to students' enrolled in the GRE Test Prep sessions.
Characteristics Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitates scheduled review sessions for perspective GRE Prep test-takers on the three sections of the GRE including verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing.
2. Instructs students on fine-tuning student's test taking strategies for the GRE Exam.
3. Develops supplemental learning materials/problems for program participants.
4. Produces diagnostic reports on student performance and provides prompt and individualized feedback.
5. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution; Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- GRE scores in the top 20%
- Previous experience with GRE Prep
- Teaching, coaching or leadership experience
- Experienced with student-centered pedagogy
