Responsibilities for this position include: development of unique marketing strategies and campaigns in support of Cincinnati Online certificates and degree programs. The Marketing Manager will utilize a diversified promotional mix that yields a quantifiable and significant return on marketing investments across the spectrum of channels. This approach will be aligned with the goal of increasing student enrollments and revenue. In addition, the Marketing Manager leads and implements brand strategy development, research, copywriting, interpersonal collaboration, project management, analysis, and staff/vendor relationships. Manager will positively impact the fiscal performance of the programs assigned and the quality of Cincinnati Online relationships with internal and external constituents who are collaborative partners.
Minimum Qualifications: A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in related field, preferably in Marketing or equivalent product management and/or ad agency work experience; at least two years' experience in product marketing, campaign planning including direct and/or interactive marketing, research, messaging, positioning, copywriting; demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy; strong understanding of search, online advertising and pay-per-click (PPC); excellent creative and copywriting skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, design and layout (especially Excel); basic understanding and experience with CRM systems and website content management; strong knowledge of project management fundamentals; excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability, and strong ability to negotiate.
