Assistant Professor - Medical Director of Precision Medicince Laboratory

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati (UC) invites applications for an academic Medical Director for our new Precision Medicine Laboratory. The individual selected will play a key role in the design and launch of this laboratory, and will oversee testing in collaboration with the laboratory's technical director. A smaller participation in anatomic or clinical pathology service will also be expected. The position also requires teaching pathology residents and offers many avenues for collaborative participation in translational research. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. Minimum Qualifications : Applicants must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. degree, board-certification or -eligibility in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio. Fellowship training in Molecular Pathology is preferred.
