The Department of Psychology at the University of CIncinnati is seeking an Assistant Professor - Educator. A successful candidate must have a proven record of teaching excellence.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology; previous teaching experience as instructor of record of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods / Statistics, Psychobiology, Sensation & Perception, Developmental Psychology and Social Psychology; online teaching experience; and experience supervising undergraduate student thesis projects.

As part of the College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Innovation Initiative, we seek applicants who use research-based, active learning approaches and those willing to evaluate new models of instruction and embrace online learning.

This is a non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor - Educator position that is renewable upon satisfactory performance. The normal workload for this position is 4, 3-credit courses one semester and 3, 3-credit courses the other (in addition to one workload unit of service), but this is subject to any changes in the departmental workload policy.
