The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (ChEE) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for multiple full-time tenure-track faculty positions in the Chemical Engineering Program (Requisition #23462).

Successful candidates will conduct research in one or more of the following areas: (1) membranes and separation technologies, (2) catalysis, (3) soft-matter and polymers, and (4) biomolecular engineering. They will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their Chemical Engineering specialty areas, develop externally funded research programs, publish research results in professional journals, advise graduate and undergraduate students, and participate in professional service activities. In addition, the successful candidates will participate in curriculum and course development. Rank, tenure, salary and startup funding will be negotiated commensurate with the qualifications and experience.

The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering currently has a total 30 faculty members with 17 faculty in the Chemical Engineering (ChE) Program. ChE program enrollment is about 600 undergraduate and 50 graduate students. The program offers an ABET accredited undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering as well as graduate programs that confer Master of Science, Master of Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Chemical Engineering. The Program emphasizes Energy and Life Science research and has particular focus in the areas of membranes, separation technologies, catalysis, soft-matter, polymers, and biomolecular engineering.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field is required.
