The School of Planning within the College of DAAP prepares professionals for distinguished practice and spatially-based approaches with a focus on livable places, and the creation of communities that enrich people's lives. The six academic programs within the School of Planning (Bachelor in Urban Planning, Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies, Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, Master of Community Planning, Master of Landscape Architecture and PhD in Urban and Regional Development Planning) offer specific coursework about the planning and design of innovative futures for urban communities and regions. The School of Planning's graduate planning program is ranked 3rd in the Midwest and 16thin North America by Planetizen.
The School of Planning in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati is seeking candidates to fill an annualized adjunct position for lecture, seminar, or studio courses in the following subjects: Sustainable Sites Studio and Seminar for the Master of Landscape Architecture program, Regional Planning Studio, Organizational theories for Planners, and Visualization.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a field related to specific course content.
Ideal Qualifications: Prior teaching experience preferred; documented work experience in field related to specific course content.
Terms of Appointment: Full-time, one-year position at the rank of Annualized Adjunct Assoc/Asst Professor/Instructor. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Appointment Date: August 15, 2018
