UC Clermont College is located in the center of Clermont County on 91 beautiful wooded acres in Batavia Township. Opened in 1972, Clermont College is an accredited, open-access college offering more than 50 associate degrees and certificate programs and a baccalaureate degree.

UC Clermont College is looking for a full time Academic Tutor. This position will report to the Director of the Academic Success Center and will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all other activities.

Position Description: Tutor students in the Math Lab in the Academic Success Center to improve their academic performance in math/statistics. Supervise and train peer tutors. Assist with development of tutoring resources and workshops designed to address the needs of students in the area of Math/Statistics. Assist the Director of ASC in developing and overseeing peer tutor training and scheduling. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one year experience in a related field as designated by the hiring department; experience must be in teaching or tutoring and relative to the specified field.

Ideal Qualifications: Master's degree in math with background in statistics or related field e.g., (secondary education-math). The ideal candidate will also possess good organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, good public relations and interpersonal skills.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
