Visiting Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering

Retirement: The University contributes 4% of the regular salary with up to 3% of additional matched contributions into the TIAA Retirement Program. Job Summary:
The appointment will be made at the level of Visiting Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor, commensurate with experience.

Required Skills:
Candidates with a specialty area within structural engineering will be considered. A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or Engineering Education (with a prior degree in civil engineering), or a related field is preferred, ABD is acceptable. Industry experience, teaching experience, and professional licensure will be viewed favorably. Candidates should be committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of engineering education pedagogy.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or Engineering Education (with a prior degree in civil engineering), or a related field is preferred, ABD is acceptable.
Industry experience, teaching experience, and professional licensure will be viewed favorably.
