Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Fellow will work in the First Responder Health and Safety Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Denise Smith. Primary responsibilities will be working on a nationally-funded project to advance cardiac health in firefighters. The successful candidate will function as a team member responsible for gathering relevant medical literature and research findings, statistical analyses, preparing drafts of presentations and manuscripts, and communicating with fire service personnel and other stakeholders. This individual will also help translate science into practical guidelines and training/educational material. The successful candidate must possess good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and work well as part of a collaborative team. Research experience and publication in public safety, military, firefighting is desirable.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in health and exercise science, kinesiology, physiology, public health or related field.
