Job Summary:
This full-time, twelve-month position assists in administering several major initiatives within Student Academic Services (SAS) and provides administrative assistance in implementing Skidmore's academic goals and policies. The position coordinates a variety of efforts in support of international students and United World College Davis Scholars. Programmatic support largely focusses on providing individual and group social, cultural, transitional, and academic support. As required by Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP) regulations, the role requires serving as an institutional Designated School Official (DSO) and one of the institutional Alternate Responsible Officers (AROs). The role also involves collecting and analyzing semester and annual data, monitoring and tracking students' progress toward the degree completion, providing student intervention services, developing and delivering workshops and other services designed for students applying for certain national and international scholarships, writing letters of recommendation and support for students, serving on various committees, and other duties in support of Student Affairs Staff and Student Academic Services as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters Degree education, higher education, counseling or related field required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international student populations in higher education and knowledge of student exchange and visitor regulations. Experience providing academic support, and familiarity with the goals of a liberal arts education. Experience working with diverse populations and English Language Learners.

Pay Range:
$47,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience
