Position Summary and Responsibilities The Environmental Monitoring and Management Alliance (EMMA) is looking for a communications intern to continue work on our communications plan. See www.emmahv.orgfor more information on EMMA and for our strategic plan. The intern will work with the EMMA Coordinator to further develop the plan through crafting messages and providing strategies and actions steps needed to effectively raise awareness about the Alliance's mission and work through different media.

There is funding for 80 hours of work at $10 an hour. The Communications Intern will report to the EMMA Coordinator at Vassar College at The Environmental Cooperative in Poughkeepsie, NY. A work schedule will be planned to fit the intern's course schedule. The start and end date is flexible, but it is expected the work will be completed by the end of the fall semester.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in a communications-related field and will have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate work, though uniquely qualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
