Brief Summary:

The Political Science Department at Marist College invites applications for the tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Political Science in the areas of comparative politics and international relations beginning Fall 2017.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Tenure track positions at Marist College carry a 4/3 or 3/3 course load, depending on scholarship productivity, with a balance between introductory and advanced courses.

Qualifications:

We are seeking broadly trained candidates with a Ph.D. in hand who can teach introductory courses in Comparative Politics and International Relations. Candidates should have some combination of regional expertise in Latin America, Africa and/or Asia. An ability to teach upper level courses in the area of your specialization including Democratization, Developing Areas, and research methods is also desirable. PH.Ds preferred.
