The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for two full-time positions at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline or Senior Lecturer in Discipline to teach in the MS Program in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). This position will begin on July 1, 2017. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Discipline will teach courses related to ERM in one or more of the following areas that focus on strategic, operational, financial, and insurance risk:

-value-based ERM
-traditional risk and ERM practices
-external stakeholder requirements
-operational risk
-financial risk
-insurance risk
-company failures
-systemic risk
-ERM modeling

Successful candidates will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, instructional design, and professional practice and/or scholarship.

The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in risk management, finance, business, or another area related to ERM and hold an actuarial designation such as FSA or FCAS.
