The Department of Psychology in Arts and Science at New York University seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Undergraduate Program, pending budgetary and administrative approval. The duties of the position will focus on: 1) teaching in the Psychology program, 2) student advising/mentoring, and 3) curriculum development and administration.
 
The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical and/or psychopathology research. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate-level courses in Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, and Research in Psychopathology. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching, clinical, and research experience.
 
Materials submitted must include evidence of clinical and teaching ability, a letter of interest (including career goals, educational philosophy, research, and/or practice areas of interest), curriculum vitae, and sample research, scholarship, or professional work samples demonstrating subject matter expertise.
 
Applicants should arrange for a minimum of three professional letters of recommendation to be sent. An earned completed Ph.D. in Psychology from a reputable institution of higher education is required. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the mentoring of students from a diverse global population.
