The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for one or more positions at the rank of Associate Professor of Professional Practice or Professor of Professional Practice specializing in the field of strategic communication. Faculty will teach in one or more of the School's strategic communication programs:

-digital strategy
-narrative medicine
-communication theory
-organizational communication
 

This position will begin on July 1, 2017. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

Successful candidates will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, instructional design, and professional practice and/or scholarship.

Ideal candidates will hold a doctoral degree, terminal degree, or its professional equivalent in communications, marketing, or related fields.
