Website Content Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing Analytics and Project Management
Position Type: Full-time, 12 Months
Standard Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Summary:
The Website Content Manager works as part of the Office of Marketing and Communications and is primarily responsible for the operation, administration, front-end maintenance, and use of the Drupal Content Management system and the user experience on all Keuka.edu pages. The Website Content Manager ensures that pages are tested across browsers and platforms, monitors online traffic and conversions, and partners with colleagues to identify and implement ways in which to optimize achieving online business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage the College's CMS system, partner with IT, content developers and editors to ensure it meets the needs of our organization.
• Provide oversight to the function and content presented on the College's public website.
• Create, edit, post, update, and clean up outdated content.
• Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in site content.
• Monitor web traffic and performance to identify, prevent and resolve issues.
• Provide analytics reports to help drive website conversions.
• Provide training to College stakeholders on using the CMS.
• Develop new features to enhance the look, feel, and overall user satisfaction with the web, particularly to aid in achieving the College's enrollment and development efforts.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Serve as subject matter expert on all Office of Marketing and Communications web applications.
• Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times towards co-workers, internal and external customers, representing Keuka College, its programs, policies, and procedures in a positive and professional manner. Maintain effective working relationships to ensure institution-wide teamwork.
• Attend provided/necessary training and other meetings to support effectiveness within the position as required.
• Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Keuka College mission, vision, and values and adhering to institutional policies.
• Maintain a high regard for student privacy in accordance with the FERPA privacy policies and procedures.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
• Perform other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Possess an associate's degree in communications, computer science, web development, or related field is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrated success in managing a robust Drupal implementation (preferred), or other CMS system implementation.
3. Mastery of PHP, HTML5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
4. Ability to create wire frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
5. Working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 - Level A/AA.
6. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/Photoshop/Illustrator, InDesign.
7. Mastery of Google Analytics.
8. Mastery of social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Search, Google Maps, and Office 365/SharePoint Online.
9. Ability to write, produce and publish good, persuasive content.
10. Possess an eye for clean and artful design, sound user interface strategies, and the ability to transform high-level requirements into professional, intuitive design, content and code.
11. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
12. Understand and behave with a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality at all times.
13. Ability to be sensitive to and respond to needs/concerns of students, faculty, college staff and the public.
14. Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Physical Requirements:
• Requires repetitive motions and sitting at a computer keyboard.
• Hearing and speaking on the telephone.
• Some performance of job duties may require travel to branch campus or other offsite locations.
• Able to lift, bend, grasp, reach, lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
