Title: Summer Housing Operations Manager (Temporary Position)

Job Description: The Manager will be responsible for the day to day housing operational functions for the St. John's Residence Village for summer conference guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, training, supervision of student staff, providing both high quality housing facilities and linen services for overnight guests. Additional responsibilities include: developing staff training program, coordinating room inspections, scheduling staff within budget, and coordination of linen vendor deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree by May 2018
- Experience working in hotel or similar operations environment
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and compassionate
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
Days/ hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Evening & weekend hours required during summer.
Begin/End: April 1 - August 24, 2018. Up to 35 hours per week. Not to exceed 650 hours.
Reports to: Director of Operations, Erin McDonnell
Where will they work: ROTC Rm 206B/ O'Connor 104
Hourly Salary range: $14-16/hr.
