Title: Summer Facilities and Audio Visual Operations Manager (Temporary Staff)

Job Description: The Manager will be responsible for the day to day facility operations and audio visual support for conference groups. Responsibilities include: scheduling, training, supervision of student staff, coordinating meeting room set up and breakdown, and event support logistics. The successful candidate will require operating knowledge of meeting room scheduling software. Candidate will work closely with colleagues in Facilities, Public Safety and Information Technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree by May 2018
• Experience working in event, programming, Audio & Visual,or customer service environment
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and compassionate
• Ability to problem solve and work independently

Days/ hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Evening & weekend hours required.

Begin/End: April 16 - August 13, 2018. April 16 - May 14 up to 20 hours per week. May 15 - August 13 up to 35 hours per week. Not to exceed 600 hours.

Reports to: Director of Operations, Erin McDonnell

Where will they work: ROTC 206B/O'Connor 103

Hourly Salary range: $14-16/hr.
