Title: Summer Camp Operations Manager (Temporary Staff)

Job Description: The Manager will be responsible for the day to day operational functions for the summer youth camp program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination for both on/off campus activities and High School Graduations support (June). Off campus trip coordination includes guest airport pick up & return and NYC Tourist Attactions. Additional responsibilities include: staff recruitment, trip planning, travel pass inventory, hiring, training, supporting High School Graduations, and supervision of student staff. First Aid/CPR training and a physical examination is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree by May 2018
- Experience working in a camp or youth program environment
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and compassionate
- Ability to problem solve and work independently
Days/ hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Evening & weekend hours required during summer.
Begin/End: April 1 - August 13, 2018. Up to 35 hours per week. Not to exceed 625 hours.
Reports to: Director of Conference Services, Richard Wolcott
Where will they work: ROTC Rm 206B/O'Connor 104
Hourly Salary range: $14-$16/hr.
