Responsibilities Include:
This is a tenure-track position with administrative duties
- Establish, develop, and maintain adequate quantity and quality of clinical education sites,
- Create/compose policies and procedures manual for clinical education,
- Place and supervise students in appropriate clinical sites,
- Monitor and document student performance,
- Mentor students concerning internships
- Collaborate with faculty, clinical, and administrative teams,
- Manage responsibilities consistent with vision/mission of University, Department, CAPTE, clinical sites and federal/state regulations
- DPT teaching in area(s) of expertise
- Department/University/Community service and scholarship
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Academic doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Sc.) or DPT with Board Certification (OCS, NCS, )
- Current PT licensure in any United States jurisdiction, eligible for NY State licensure.
- Minimum 3-years of experience as a Clinical Instructor, DCE preferred
- Prior academic, research, scholarly experience in CAPTE accredited PT program preferred.
