The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in Biomedical Sciences. An earned Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Genomics/Anatomy & Physiology or related area is required and post-doctoral experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include establishing an active research program that will attract external funding, mentoring students, and teaching graduate and undergraduate students in Biomedical (Biochemistry/Genomics) and related pharmaceutical sciences.

The Department has 36 faculty with research interests in medicinal chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, industrial pharmacy/pharmaceutics and biochemistry. The Department offers both the MS and Ph.D. degree. Modern instrumentation and AAALAC-accredited facilities are available.
