ADJUNCT ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF GRAPHIC DESIGN AND TYPOGRAPHY

St. John's University in Queens, New York, invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position to teach our Intro Typography and Senior Design courses for Fall 2019. Typography is a sophomore level course is part of the Graphic Design (BFA) program and focuses developing hierarchy skills working with large amounts of text. Senior Design is the capstone course in the Graphic Design major. Students work on a series of related projects throughout the semester. Both classes meet two times per week on Tuesdays and Fridays from September through mid-December. Prior teaching experience at the college level and an MFA in Graphic Design is preferred.
