Sarah Lawrence College is a highly selective liberal arts college, located in southern Westchester County, New York

The College has opened a new Center for the Urban River at the Hudson River Environmental Education Institute in downtown Yonkers and seeks an energetic individual to serve as Director.  The director must be an experienced grant writer, with responsibility for the administration and budget of the Center, management of facilities, oversight of the Center’s educational activities, and for serving as liaison to Sarah Lawrence faculty and staff doing research at the Center.  The director will be responsible for securing funding for the Center’s activities.

Qualifications include a background in science, education or related fields, administrative experience, and a proven track record in obtaining grants and funding.  Experience in the non-profit arena is preferred.  Review of applications will be begin July 1, 2013.
