Daemen College is currently seeking a dynamic leader and visionary for the establishment of a new office of multicultural affairs and diversity. The Director of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs will be a senior staff member in the Division of Student Affairs and as such, will play a critical role in developing programming, awareness, and outreach efforts for students of all backgrounds, faiths, and orientation. Working closely with academic affairs, this position will collaborate with faculty on examining opportunities for incorporating diversity and multicultural awareness into the curriculum.
The Director of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs must have a minimum of an earned Masters Degree in Higher Education, Education, Student Affairs, or similar area, as well as a minimum of five years post graduate experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and verbal communications and work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
