Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Specialist Professor in Economics and Finance. This anticipated opening is for the 2019-2020 academic year and is a two year initial appointment subject to subsequent multi-year reappointments without limit.

Candidates would be expected to teach 12 credits per semester at both the undergraduate and graduate level in areas such as introductory Micro/Macroeconomics, Principles of Finance, and Money, Credit, and Financial Institutions.

The Leon Hess Business School is AACSB accredited, and houses approximately 1,500 students instructed by 36 faculty members from the Departments of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Real Estate, Management and Decision Sciences, and Marketing and International Business.

Master's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience: 5

Other Requirements:
Masters degree or higher in Economics, Finance or a related field. Five years of industry experience.

Demonstrated ability to maintain a strong record of excellence in teaching, research, and service commensurate with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) international standards.

Ability to maintain at least Instructional Practitioner (IP) or Practice Academic (PA) status as defined by AACSB.

Preferred Qualifications:
Primary field of expertise in Finance and/or Economics. Experience teaching at the undergraduate and Master of Business Administration (MBA) levels.
