Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM) is currently seeking a full time Assistant Professor to join the Department of Geriatrics & Gerontology. In support of SOM s mission and vision, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an extramurally funded research program focusing on underlying mechanisms associated with the initiation and progression of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer s disease and Parkinson s disease. The candidate will have an active role in the training and education of medical and graduate students, mentoring and supervision of thesis research of graduate students seeking their Master s degree or PhD and will be expected to establish productive collaborative interactions with members of a growing group of neuroscientists at SOM. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in faculty development.

The selected candidate must hold the following (credentials):

• PhD
• At least two years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Neuroscience is preferred
