The Vance-Granville Community College (VGCC) Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Vance-Granville Community College.  The president serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the appointed twelve-member board.

 

Established in 1969, VGCC is one of the 58 institutions of the North Carolina Community College System. The VGCC service area includes Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties.  VGCC operates four campuses: Main Campus in Vance County (near Henderson, the area’s largest city), South Campus in Granville County, the Franklin County Campus and the Warren County Campus.  Courses are also offered online and at numerous other locations to make education accessible to all of our communities.

Required Qualifications:

• An earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution preferred with a minimum requirement of a master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of senior-level administrative experience, preferably at a community college, or equivalent required.
