TEACHING INSTRUCTOR

Job Description: East Carolina University (ECU) Department of Anthropology is accepting applications for a Teaching Instructor position to begin August 14, 2017. We are seeking a cultural anthropologist for a full-time (.90 FTE) Fall semester 2017 appointment. Responsibilities include teaching two sections of a Global Understanding Course, which uses Internet technology to connect ECU students with students from a consortium of international universities (for more information about the Global Understanding Course please see: http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/globalinitiatives/beyond.cfm) and teaching two sections of face-to-face undergraduate introductory anthropology courses.


Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in anthropology is required.
