QUALITY ASSURANCE REGIONAL LEAD

Job Description: The Quality Assurance Program Development Lead is responsible for the development and delivery of the full array of professional development trainings and materials needed to implement the inter-rater reliability project throughout the state as part of the Early Education, Support, Leadership, and Professional Development (EESLPD) program, as administered by the Division of Child Development and Early Education. The training developed by this position will support the work of the EESLPD hub offices at ECU and UNC-Charlotte as it relates to the NC Teacher Evaluation Process and reliability among evaluators' ratings. This position will report directly to the Project Lead Coordinator in the ECU-EESLPD program office and will collaborate closely with the UNC-Charlotte EESLPD hub offices.


Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in education or child development or related field, with a concentration in early childhood education, child development, human development/family studies, special education (early intervention/preschool), or related area. A minimum of 3 years of progressive, successful experience as an early childhood leader at local, regional or state-level. Experience as an evaluator with the EESLPD unit and experience as a trainer required. North Carolina Birth-through-Kindergarten (BK) or Preschool Add-on License is required.

Equivalent education, experience and NC Education License may be considered.
