DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES FOR ATHLETICS

Job Description: The Director of Creative Services will serve as main graphic designer and will be responsible for the visual brand of the ECU Athletics Department across print, digital and some audio/video platforms, as well as facility graphics. The selected candidate works directly with the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement in the strategic development of awareness campaigns and organizational branding towards the achievement of visibility, relevance and revenue goals / objectives. Position will also serve as a liaison with print advertising media partners across region while developing advertising strategies, schedules and promotions. Director of Creative Services will work in support of department's social media efforts, and may be asked to work some game day events.


Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Journey level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.

Salary Grade Equivalent: 69 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
