Responsibilities:
The Division of Languages and Literature at Delta State University is seeking a full-time Instructor of Communication Studies, with online teaching experience.
A masters degree in communications studies is required. The successful candidate will teach communication studies classes, primarily introductory public speaking and interpersonal communications courses. The expected course load is four classes per semester, in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Familiarity with the standards of the Quality Matters online education quality assurance program and the Canvas LMS is preferred. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in divisional committee work and other service work. Experience in teaching performance studies courses and directing dramatic productions is also a preference, but is not required.

Delta State University is a SACSCOC-accredited public university with an enrollment of approximately 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students. The campus is located in Cleveland, Mississippi, in the center of one of America's most culturally rich and ethnically diverse regions.

A masters degree in communications studies and/or speech communications, and two to five years of college teaching experience.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications
