Both deans will oversee and advance the work of academic programs in their areas, including oversight of budget and hiring. The two deans will work closely together, with the Provost, and with department chairs and faculty to advance the academic program of the College; a collaborative style is essential. The deans will also be responsible for oversight of general education programs, assessment of institutional student learning outcomes, and student academic experiences.
