Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

OAKLAND UNIVERSITY. The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, &

Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminal

Justice position to begin Fall 2018. Applicants must demonstrate or have the potential to produce

scholarly research and effective teaching. A Ph.D. in criminology/criminal justice or a related

field is required at the time of appointment, August 15, 2018. Teaching load, salary and benefits

We seek candidates who can contribute to our program needs in corrections, homeland security,

terrorism, and/or foreign or domestic radicalization processes. In addition, preference may be

given to candidates who could teach courses in additional core program areas. Candidates should
